Memory Lane

As I go down memory lane
I remember those times
That have caused me hurt and pain.

One fine day everything crashes
All my dreams
They turned to ashes.

The times were supposed to be the best
But circumstances put that to rest.
Now I look back at them with sorrow,
Hoping for a better tomorrow.

On the crossroads of life I stood,
Thinking all was gonna be good
Little did I know what to expect,
Most of the choices I dint bother to dissect.

I waited and waited
And waited for long
Only to late I realized
That I was so wrong.

But now I feel those times made me better
Thought me not 2 expect things on a platter.
Made me tougher from the inside,
But still in my heart a little regret resides.

So much of it was tears and pain,
All of it made me so insane.
But I’ve learnt from my mistakes
The fact that life has no re-takes

Now I’m gonna make most of what remains
Never take anything for granted again.
Spread everywhere love and joy
And this completes my transformation to man from a boy.
